About Megan:

Megan is passionate about helping others understand the complex ways in which the brain and body work together and how it can be rehabilitated after an event or injury. She believes in empowering clients to become active participants in their recovery through home treatment. When she isn't working, you can find Megan exploring the mountains or cycling around the Lower Mainland to some of her favourite coffee shops!

Specialty

Megan primarily has experience working with clients with neurological conditions. She specializes in helping those rehabilitate from conditions like:

• Stroke

• Brain injury

• Spinal cord injury

• Parkinson’s and ALS

• MS

• Cerebral palsy

She has taken the Basic Bobath course and an Advanced Bobath course on evaluation and treatment of adults with neurological conditions.

Experience

Megan completed her Bachelors in Kinesiology at UBC in 2019, and completed her Masters of Sciences in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto in 2021. After graduating, she has worked in a variety of different settings including neurological private practice, inpatient rehab and home care.
