Registered Massage Therapy
In-Home RMT sessions offer significant benefits for clients recovering from a concussion. It aids in reducing muscle tension in the head and neck, which is a common issue following a concussion. This reduction in muscle tension not only promotes healing from concussions and post-concussion syndrome but also helps in alleviating pain. Additionally, RMT can positively influence the alignment of the head, neck, and spine, which can lead to a decrease in concussion-related symptoms.
-
Clinical Counselling
Clinical counselling can be a vital support for individuals recovering from a concussion. It provides a structured environment where patients can learn coping strategies to deal with the cognitive, emotional, and psychological challenges that often accompany this type of injury. Counsellors can help individuals understand and manage symptoms such as memory loss, irritability, and depression, which are common during the recovery process.
